2 ground zeroes always beat it (if you time it correctly) and it can even be used as a xp/ tower xp strategy.
Tower xp strategy:
1.Place 2 Ground Zeroes anywhere.
2. Place as many unupgraded towers (the one that you want to gain xp for) as you can (towers must be able to attack). Note: tower xp gaining strategy does not work for anything that can't pop MOABs or CAN"T POP AT ALL.
Oh, I forgot to add step 3.
3. Start game. when most bloons are nearing exit use ground zero. Repeat for the remaining bloons.
(Please put unupgraded towers in places where they can still attack, but not very well.) This strategy does NOT work if you let loose fast-moving bloons such as a ceramic bloon.(which is why you need to place towers in instrategic places)
This upgrade got me all the dart monkey and mortar tower upgrades! :)
Put a 2-0 monkey village near the first curve and 8 moab maulers with longer range set on strong and 3 3-2 glue gunners near the top of the village's range. It shouldn't be difficult to fit all 11 towers in and you will have 7500 left.
Here's a simple strategy. Put down a 2/0 monkey village below the first curve (not the first turn). Them put 2 2/3 super monkeys above it and then start the round. Since you are going to get the cash for it you might as well upgrade your village to 2/1.
Seriously. Just Ground-Zero those MOABs or use a 0/4 Ninja, use ability, sell and rebuy, and keep using the ability until all MOABs are on screen. Then SMS (Super Monkey Storm) it. Or simply spike it if you have double cash.
Excuse me Anon?
Or I tried 50k worth of Tack Sprayers and 3 Rings of AFire under the discount of a portable 0/0 Village. (sell and rebuy) It works!
I did the 8 MOAB maulers, with a Monkey Intelligence Bureau with a 4/2 ice tower on the bridge, with a 0/2 Super Monkey. It was hilarious to see the ice tower stop dead everything that wasn't a MOAB. I'd kinda like to know what the maximum RBE was that I had in its range, because at the end of the mission the super monkey was just pounding away at a blob of frozen bloons for about 20 seconds :)
I know what you mean. I once used a Laser Cannon and it pretty much popped nothing for a while. I upgraded to ROD (it was on Sandbox) and it still took over a second.
On Topic: The Strategies page works just fine. I tested a few.
Another strategy was to place four moab maulers a the beginning, an 4/2 ice tower and a 2/4 icetower together at the top left uturn. at the end of the trackm place two moab shredder spike factories. and spend your remaining money on anything
Also, yet another strategy is to spam 2/3 Boomerangs with a sell-and-rebuy 0/0 Village. (Note: This requires maxed out Boomerang Dojo and/or Double Rangas.)
