- Not to be confused with Bloontonium Mine, a map from Bloons TD Battles.
Bloontonium Mines is a map in Bloons TD Battles 2. It is one of 11 maps to be introduced on initial release. Starting from Version 1.1.0, it is no longer playable on ZOMG Superdome or Hall of Masters. It is also available in Casual Mode and Event Theatre.
Overview[]
The map appears to take place in a cavern filled with red-crystalline Bloontonium, the same type seen in Bloons Monkey City Mobile and Bloons Pop!. There are minecarts and stone clusters around the map's edges. There is a large patch of water at the bottom of both sides' maps. The track is made up of several triangles.
Natural Bloons will enter from the bottom right for the first player and the bottom left for the second player. They will go upwards, following the triangular path. Bloons will then go around the crystals in the middle once and exit directly above where they entered. Player-sent Bloons enter from the bottom left for the first player and the bottom right for the second player. They will go around the large triangle and then exit where natural Bloons normally enter from.
The Bloontonium crystals in the middle of the map block the sight of monkeys. The crystals can be removed for $500, allowing the player to place monkeys where it once was and allowing monkeys to see through the area. Upon removing the crystals, an animation of an monkey with a hard hat mining the crystals with a pickaxe is seen. The new land is enough to fit a Monkey Village but not a Banana Farm, Heli Pilot, or Monkey Ace.
