Bloons TD 6 Netflix (stylized as Bloons TD 6 NETFLIX in the store pages) is a version of the original Bloons TD 6 on Android and iOS platforms available to Netflix subscribers. It has minor differences compared to its mainstream counterpart. Other than the cover art and app icon being substantially modified, Netflix stated there are no major differences between the game and Bloons TD 6. The game is a completely separate premium app with no in-app purchases, and is aimed to bring current Netflix subscribers to the game as well as to promote the Netflix games library.
The game itself doesn't cost anything to download but requires an active Netflix subscription to play, with the cheapest plan "Standard with ads" costing $6.99 USD on a monthly basis. Once the Netflix subscription expires, access to Bloons TD 6 Netflix will be revoked until paying for the subscription again.
Bloons TD 6 Netflix is a separate app that is independent from the mainstream Bloons TD 6, although aimed to update at a similar rate to the aforementioned game.
Gameplay[]
Gameplay in Bloons TD 6 Netflix remains similar to the original Bloons TD 6 with minor differences. The main differences for Bloons TD 6 Netflix are certain features that have been changed to better integrate the Netflix gaming experience.
In terms of compatibility with the main Bloons TD 6 game, there is a very limited compatibility. Players are able to play Co-Op Mode with clients on the original Bloons TD 6, provided that both clients' game versions are matching. Game saves of Bloons TD 6 Netflix are incompatible with those of original BTD6 or Bloons TD 6+ and vice versa.
Differences[]
- All Monkey Money rewards are increased by +75%, rounded down.
- Netflix profiles are used for cloud saves, and only one save may be stored per profile
- No Shop, although Netflix's Standard Plan ($15.49 USD) is available as an in-app purchase if one isn't currently subscribed to Netflix
- Delayed updates; Version 46 came about about a week later on Netflix Edition than in normal BTD6.
- All usernames from games outside of BTD6 Netflix are censored to randomly generated names when playing Co-Op Mode or using online features
- However, BTD6 Netflix players use Netflix game handles as usernames, and they will be visible to other BTD6 Netflix and BTD6 players.
- Team names cannot be edited, and only randomized.

- You can play the game offline, as it will still connect to your netflix profile when you enter the game. However, in this case, you cannot save your game on the cloud.
- The game's release date is listed on Google Play as June 12, 2023, 8 days before the game's announcement.
- Bloons TD 6 Netflix's language will automatically match the selected language of the player's Netflix profile. If the selected language is not available on Bloons TD 6 Netflix, the game will default to English.
- There is a bug where the font displaying the player's username is different than original BTD6 in the main menu, and said text occasionally flickers.
- At the time when Bloons TD 6 Netflix was first released, there were 69 maps available to play on, if counting Blons as a map.
- There is no way to transfer the Netflix data of the game to the any other version of the game.
