Bloon Impact is the 4th upgrade of Path 1 the Bomb Shooter in Bloons TD Battles 2. It is similar to its BTD6 counterpart prior to BTD6 Version 38.0.

Along with creating singular large explosions as its previous Really Big Bombs upgrade does, the Bloon Impact upgrade allows the Bomb Shooter to stun all non-MOAB-class bloons affected by its explosion for up to 1s. However, its explosions still cannot pop Black Bloons, unless given the Frag Bombs crosspath or other supports. The Bomb Shooter also gains slightly more range (+3). Blast radius remains at 27, pierce remaining at 50.

When crosspathed with Frag Bombs, it creates 16 large powerful fragments instead of just 12 from Really Big Bombs. Fragments have 3 pierce instead of 2, deal 3 damage and further increases frags projectile lifespan by 20%.

It costs $3,600, and is unlocked by default.

Summary[]

Bloon Impact's stun, while expensive, is quite reliable at stopping a crowd of bloons from getting through. The main value of this is its permastun, specifically with 4-2-0 crosspath. Use this upgrade once MOABs are popped into ceramics, as it will make them negligible to deal with.

Tips[]

Crosspath choice is generally 4-2-0 over 4-0-2, for the higher rate of permastunning is overall stronger than the improved fragments.
Adding Striker Jones is recommended to handle Black properties more reliability.
