“ | Upgraded to 6 barrels and massively increased damage. Bloons are excluded from existance. | ” |
~ BTDB2 description |
Bloon Exclusion Zone is the 5th and final upgrade of the bottom path for the Dartling Gunner in Bloons TD Battles 2. Compared to Bloon Area Denial System, it increases the attack speed by +50% (every 0.25s, or 0.167s with 0-2-5) by shooting from a total of 6 barrels instead of 4, increases projectile number from 6 buckshots to 12, damage per buckshot increases from 5 to 8, and pierce increases from 7 to 9. The two top barrels additionally are tall enough to have high ground. Crosspathing with Laser Shock upgrade has no stronger benefit.
When set to Target Independent, the Bloon Exclusion Zone now sets barrels to, in order from top to bottom: First, Last, Close, Strong, First, Strong.
Overall, it has similarities to the BTD6 pre-38.0 counterpart in BTD6, in addition to costing cheaper.
It costs $50,000, and is unlocked with the other Dartling Gunner tier 5 upgrades for 1500.

Trivia[]
- Strangely, in Youtube sneak peaks, the stripes on Bloon Exclusion Zone's helmet are Purple, unlike in Bloons TD 6, where they are white. This was likely caused by a bug that omits a texture from a 3D model, which causes the default color to appear instead, likely the color pink. This is fixed later on, and now is white as intended.
