3-2-0 Bloon Dissolver
Bloon Dissolver is the 3rd upgrade on Path 1 of the Glue Gunner in Bloons TD Battles 2. It is similar to its BTD6 counterpart, except with various differences, particularly a cheaper price and different stats.
The dissolving glue deals +1 DoT damage to both MOAB-class and Ceramics. Its attack cooldown is reduced too, shooting glue every 0.75s instead of 0.9s from its predecessor. Each blob of glue sticks to up to 1 bloon plus more with Path 2 crosspathing, which is not the case in BTD6 (where it starts at 2 pierce instead). Despite "two layers every second", the Bloon Dissolver actually corrodes bloons every 0.575s, not 0.5s.
It costs $2,300, and can be unlocked with the purchase of Glue Gunner.

Summary[]
Dissolves bloons quickly with glue, slowing them down and corroding them quickly upon contact. This makes them the perfect option against a spaced Regrow rush below Ceramic. However, the glue has low pierce, requiring middle crosspath for reliable crowd control, and relies on DoT to make the most of its offensive power.
Tips[]
- 3-2-0 almost always has the better results, as Bloon Dissolver is a DPS tower and would prefer extra pierce to maximize its DPS potential.
- Go for 3-0-2 in case Ceramic bloons are nearly close to the exit.
