Bloon Crush is the 5th upgrade of Path 1 the Bomb Shooter in Bloons TD Battles 2. It is similar to its BTD6 counterpart prior to BTD6 Version 34.0, except with some minor differences. More specifically, it only stuns blimps and bloons for less duration, has less pierce per explosion, but does more damage.

As an upgrade from Bloon Impact, Bloon Crush deals 30 damage and can stun both regular bloons and MOAB-class Bloons for 1.75s, making it extremely effective in later rounds where many ZOMGs and DDTs are spawned. Combined with its fair attack speed, it can essentially permanently stun any bloon (except the BAD). It now pops any bloon type, including Black Bloons, which means it can also affect DDTs effectively. Pierce remains at 50 per explosion, potentially stunning up to 50 MOAB-class bloons per shot.

As with many of the Path 1 crosspath benefits, the 5-0-2 Bloon Crush crosspath increases potency of Frag Bombs, producing 16 powerful fragments. Each fragment deals 30 damage and gains a massive pierce increase from 3 to 20, a massive DPS bonus in comparison to the stats of the 4-0-2 Bloon Impact.

It costs $55,000, and is unlocked with the other tier 5 Bomb Shooter upgrades for 1500.

Bloon Crush's highly impactful stun allows it to stun MOAB-class bloons, particularly handy for locking down visible DDTs and stall a bunch of blimps, particularly the sent ones. Bloon Crush is quite expensive, however, and usually is only affordable with a glut of income.

Tips[]

The 5-2-0 offers a greater stun rate, stunning more bloons more often. In contrast, 5-0-2 offers a huge amount of extra DPS at the cost of getting a faster stun rate. In most cases, 5-2-0 may still be superior to 5-0-2.
