Bionic Boomerang is the 3rd upgrade on Path 2 of the Boomerang Monkey in Bloons TD Battles 2. It is essentailly the same upgrade as its BTD6 counterpart with the only difference being substantially cheaper. It attacks much faster than a Faster Rangs, attacking every 0.238s, and does +2 damage against MOAB-class bloons. However, 1-3-0 and 2-3-0 crosspaths offer less pierce, due to these Path 1 upgrades granting a smaller pierce bonus.
It costs $1,100, and is unlocked with purchase of Boomerang Monkey.
An all-round strong early-game tower that reliably hits spaced bloons, as well as grouped bloons when given Glaives. The extra MOAB damage is fairly small, and only really comes into play with Turbo Charge. Bionic Boomerang is also cheaper than Glaive Ricochet and has a generally better transition from its lower-tiers when compared to that T3.
Tips[]
2-3-0 is usually better for the much greater pierce, though 0-3-2 can be useful when going for 0-4-2 for better single-target DPS or just needing to pop Leads.

Closer to launch, Boomerang was a very dominant tower in the early game. However, since then it has received multiple nerfs and the bloon send changes also had a big impact on its viability. Therefore, we have given it a slight buff to its early game so that it can regain more relevancy in the meta.
