This is a page for discussing optimal strategies for the Intermediate Map Bazaar. It is one of the hardest Intermediate Maps in the whole of BTD6, as it features a lot of Line of Sight, has placement that is limited to either the extreme left-and-right sides or the far-ranged water at the center of the map, and it has alternating lanes that never directly cross each other.
Tips[]
- Always go for flying towers such as Monkey Aces and Heli Pilots. Due to the long length of each lane, Apache Prime is by far the best single tower option for this map. Sky Shredder is also useful if set on Centered Path, although decent micro may be needed for optimizing its use towards the end of the map.
- Remember that all odd-numbered rounds go from the top lane, which starts from the left side towards the right. Conversely, the even-numbered rounds go from the bottom lane, which starts from the right side towards the left.
- Do not attempt to use Permaspike on this map. It is among the few maps where Permaspike is not recommended, due to the lack of connection of each of the lanes on this map and the presence of opposing lanes.
- Note that all the small-footprint towers (i.e. Dart Monkeys, Tack Shooters, Ice Monkeys, Glue Gunners, Sniper Monkeys, and Ninja Monkeys) are able to be placed on the land spots near the middle of the map, as well as medium-footprint towers (such as Obyn Greenfoot, Boomerang Monkeys, Druids, and Engineers) as of update 23.0.

Early-game (R6 to R39)[]
Alternate lanes are the most difficult part of beating the early-game. Choose an option that can beat the first few rounds, and then start setting up defenses that can ignore Line of Sight or can fly above the sky.
Starting Rounds (R6 to R24)[]
The most effective strategy to counter the early-game is to use options that can fit in the middle section of the map. That way, the defense can survive the early stages of the game, especially given the nature of the alternating lanes.
Heli Pilot is one of the best options once the earlier stages of the game have been handled with. Etienne also works well on this map too, but saving up for him early on may be difficult.
Viable starting options:
- Sauda
- 3 0-0-0 Darts
- 0-0-0 Dart + 0-0-0 Engi
Middle early-game (R25 to R39)[]
A Razor Rotors heli pilot is a good midgame option, preferably 320 for camo detection, although if you want to drop the 3.5k for a radar scanner or have etienne, sauda or another good camo hero in your party, that wont be necessary. Additionally, adding an AP Darts monkey sub or Destroyer monkey buccaneer will be a valuable addition to your popping power. if you are attempting this map on easy mode, this should be a solid strategy and an easy win.
Mid-Game (R41-80)[]
Early Mid-game (R41-60)[]
If you are attempting to beat medium mode, some more AP Darts subs with Enchanced Eyesight dart monkeys in the middle section should do the job, with a bloontonium reactor monkey subs for the pesky camo leads on round 59, or a 120 sniper monkey with camo priority if you are strapped on cash.

A strong choice to aim for late-game is a flying T5 tower. An example of this is the Comanche Commander combined with bloon debuffs like Glue Storm.
Ultra late-game (R101-Infinity)[]
In the early days of Late-game before r200 a good degree paragon wil probably carry you. You should aim on getting a VTSG and all paragons at the highest degree you can get them. you can get a higher degree by buying Geraldo's paragon totems or to buy 250.000$ worth of sacrificial stuff from that tower. you also need to grind 16million pops on that t5 tower. if you find yourself in a co-op game you can also ask your teamates to put down their t5's of that monkey to increase their degree even further. What also matters is choosing a long map. most of the time Logs will do the trick.
