Battleship is the fourth and last upgrade for the Monkey Buccaneer in Bloons Tower Defense 4. The description of this upgrade reads "Total nautical domination" and causes the Monkey Buccaneer to shoot three times as fast. This upgrade is the BTD4 version of Destroyer.

Appearance[]

First of all, the Battleship gets bigger in size. Now it is equivalent to 3 regular towers. This upgrade adds two extra cannons. One on the right side, and one on the left. The other cannons are squished in a little to make room for the two extra. This upgrade also adds two extra masts. The masts are colored white, just like those at the front of the ship. The middle mast and the monkey are squished in to make room for the extra masts. The Battleship becomes a much larger pirate ship.

Trivia[]

The Battleship shoots grapes every shot, unlike the Destroyer in Bloons Tower Defense 5.
Battleship is one of many BTD4 upgrades that use "mysterious" descriptions, providing a vague description of the subject without at all describing its in-game functionalities. Future mainline Bloons TD games would soon follow this trend for many, many other high-tier tower upgrades, such as the BTD5 Spectre, and the Flying Fortress from the Bloons TD 6 Generation.
