BTDB2

Grows 16 Banana bunches per round.
~ BTDB2 description

Banana Plantation (BTDB2) is the third upgrade of Path 1 for the Banana Farm in BTDB2. It more than doubles the number of bananas produced per round, increasing from 7 to 16. This path focuses entirely on additional income with no other benefits.

A 3/0/0 plantation will produce 16 bunches of bananas at $40 per banana for a total of $640 per round. A 3/2/0 Banana Plantation produces 16 bananas at $50 per banana, for a total of $800 per round. The bottom path crosspath makes it easier to collect bananas and offer useful money-related utilities, but provides no income boost.

It costs $2,750, and is available to upgrade after unlocking Banana Farm.

Strategy[]

Summary[]

The Banana Plantation is useful if you plan on dedicating a lot of attention to money-producing, but can distract you from rushes as you take time to pick up bananas, especially on mobile. It is more cost-efficient at income production compared to Marketplace at the cost of needing to pick up bananas much more often.

Tips[]

  • A 3/2/0 Banana Plantation has more income per round and pays itself off faster than the Marketplace, but requires more attention. A 3/0/2 Banana Plantation is easier to keep up with but is less efficient than a Marketplace and makes less money, so a Marketplace is almost always a better choice than a 3/0/2 plantation when trying to balance income and convenience.
  • It is usually better to start with a 3-0-0 Plantation into 3-2-0.

Banana Farm has become increasingly popular as of recently, with it arguably being too dominant in the meta. We would like to tone it down slightly by upping the price of 3xx, a particularly efficient farm for the early/mid game. [...]
