He can collect all nearby bananas and crates from Banana Farms, as well as other collectables such as Cash Drops and Supply Drop crates, and later on crates from Monkeyopolis (since Version 2.0), and Bloon Traps and XXXL Traps. Banana Farmer has a footprint size of 5 (smaller than a Dart Monkey's 6 footprint) and has a range of 60 (+20% range with 
Fit Farmers, increasing to 72).
Unlike in BTD5, Advanced Intel does not consider Banana Farmer range to be valid intel.
A "Grim Reaper" skin was released in the 22.0 Update as a limited skin for Halloween, costing 
50. A "Banana" skin was released in the 33.0 Update, costing 100.

For less hassles with collecting collectable income, Banana Farmer makes picking up of any collectable income source become automatic, provided he is within range. The act of autocollection of collectables gives user-friendly ease to collection, making it easier to focus on other potentially more important micromanagement. While Monkey Wall Street autocollects collectables identically to the Banana Farmer, the Banana Farmer can be used at any time with no hassle, and multiple Banana Farmers can be placed if necessary.
Tips[]
- To test the range in Sandbox, use either the Dart Monkey with Crossbow upgrade or the Engineer Monkey with the Larger Service Area upgrade as the range is almost identical as is with the footprint.
- Place within range of multiple Farms, and go for the Banana Plantation upgrade path when upgrading Farms to Tier 3.
- Try using Special Poperations with the Door Gunner MK to pick up a Banana Farmer and then let the helicopter roam around the map as the Banana Farmer will pick up collectable income including the Support Chinook's Supply Crate ability.
