Banana Central is the fifth upgrade of Path 1 for the Banana Farm in Bloons TD Battles 2. It produces 5 larger crates of Banana worth $2800 each per round, as well as increasing value of all Banana Research Facility crates by +20% ($720, or $900 for 4-2-0 BRFs). With the Valuable Bananas crosspath, the crates that spawn from the Banana Central are worth $3500 instead of $2800.
It costs $66,000, and is unlocked by a one-off purchase of all Tier 5 Banana Farm upgrades, which requires 
1500.
Description[]
Banana Central is an enlarged factory of bananas. The building appears more futuristic than the preceding Banana Research Facility upgrade (which appears more industrial), with features such as a glass dome that protects the banana repository. Path 2 upgrades does not change Banana Central's crosspaths in this game.

Summary[]
An extraordinary sum of money ready for extreme generation of cash, serving as a penultimate source of collectables-per-round income, second to maxed out Monkeyopolis. It is best used as an ultimate money generation source for a Farm loadout, especially when paired with multiple Banana Research Facilities to further make use of Banana Central's extreme money-making potential. In combination with an excessive cash gain from Banana Central and multiple Banana Research Facilities, use the excess cash to purchase expensive defenses for the remaining two tower types and/or sending a massive all-out rush against the opponent.
Tips[]
- 5-2-0 crosspath unanimously provides better results, given that the higher sellback isn't as significant as the much higher income output, and that only one Banana Central can be on screen at once. Also, hovering over the one Banana Central isn't too difficult.
- Unlike Monkey Wall Street, Banana Central specializes in raw income per round rather than the benefit of extra sellback and timing of the specialized massive income. Some strategies may benefit from going for a Monkey Wall Street first before transitioning into Banana Central later.
- After getting a Banana Central, spamming 4-2-0 BRFs is the best option to make the most of the Banana Central's +20% income bonus for BRFs.

Until about Version 1.0.6, when Farms become meta, Banana Central was fairly underpowered when it was first released. As a result of the popularity of Farm in tower loadouts and its overall income generation dominance compared to eco has caused Banana Central to receive a minor nerf to its global BRF buff.

- Banana Central is the most expensive Farm by upgrade cost in this game.
- Interestingly, unlike in BTD6, the bananas do not turn green when crosspathed with the middle path upgrades.
- The BTDB2 counterpart of Banana Central was at the time the second upgrade whose upgrade alone costs $68,000, the first being BTDB2 M.A.D.
