| ~ In-game upgrade description |
Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker, in short as the B.O.M.B., is a Paragon for the Bomb Shooter, released for Version 51.0. It was first described in the Version 50.0 patch notes.
Combining major features from the Bloon Crush, MOAB Eliminator, and Bomb Blitz, this Paragon incorporates all features of the Bomb Shooter, except Frag Bombs. The main attack consists of very slow-firing homing missiles that deal huge damage and do a lot of knockback and pushback. Each missile is shot from the left and right, alternating each time. It is unable to detect Camo Bloons.
It has one activated ability, which launches an Indomitable Surface-to-Air Ballistic Missile (ISABM, also known as an ISAB Missile), slowly creating explosions as it pushes away Bloons before dealing insane blimp damage to the directly targeted Bloon. And one passive ability, Blitz Tactical Storm, which is just a stronger Bomb Blitz. Losing lives also partially reduces the activated ability's cooldown. Only the passive ability detects Camo.
The Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker is obtained by having one of each Tier 5 Bomb Shooter on screen, at which point, the upgrade icon for the Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker will become available on any of the tier 5 Bomb Shooters. Purchasing the upgrade will change the selected Bomb Shooter into the Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker, while sacrificing every other Bomb Shooter on screen (including those belonging to co-op players). Only one Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker may exist at a time.
The "power" or degree of the Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker ranges from 1-100 and is determined by total cost, pop count, tier 5 upgrades, and non-tier 5 upgrades of Bomb Shooters sacrificed as explained here (TBA). As with all other Paragons, the Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker can only receive buffs from other paragons, currently only being Glaive Dominus, Ascended Shadow, Nautic Siege Core, and Master Builder Power Glove ability and none from other external sources (aside from bloon debuffing status effects such as the "Cripple MOAB" or "Super Brittle" debuffs, and the Monkey Knowledge Paragon of Power). Additionally, the Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker is unobtainable in Sandbox Mode until it has been purchased in a real game, but can always be created in Challenge Editor.
Upgrading into this Paragon costs $510,000 on Easy, $600,000 on Medium, $648,000 on Hard, and $720,000 on Impoppable. To max out on manual cash sacrifices starting from v39.0, the player must spend at least another $1,530,000 on Easy, $1,800,000 on Medium, $1,944,000 on Hard, and $2,160,000 on Impoppable. With the cash slider, these costs increase to $1,606,500 on Easy, $1,890,000 on Medium, $2,041,200 on Hard, and $2,268,000 on Impoppable.
Description[]
Overview[]
Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker and all three Tier 5 Bomb Shooters
The Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker is a multi-turreted missile launcher with a base consisting of six stand legs with red button-like protrusions, a yellow-and-black "warning stripe" around the base, on the mouth of the base a light black ring of metal and bolts, emitting yellow light, and, most importantly, the gigantic missile. This gigantic missile is the Indomitable Surface-to-Air Ballistic Missile (ISABM), only ever firing when activating the B.O.M.B's activated ability.
The gigantic missile is a big black missile with a pointed nose, glowing yellow eyes, a big mouth with opened shark-like teeth, a yellow star on its "head", has a red-and-orange stripe, a tall red upper fin, and two mini missile launchers on top that also each have a red fin. The extra missiles inside each are orange with glowing yellow eyes and closed shark-like teeth, and a pointed nose. The extra missiles are deployed when unleashing the main attack. If the Blitz Tactical Explosion passive is activated, the gigantic missile itself moves upwards.
The Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker's appearance changes every 20 degrees:
- At Degree 21-40, the Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker's center of the star has changed from yellow to light yellow, as well as a 1 small fin onto each of the mini missile launchers.
- At Degree 41-60, the Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker's green ring on the stand has changed to dark grey. The stand legs also includes a red bolt glowing.
- At Degree 61-80, the Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker's mini missile launchers' heads are changed to cyan. The base stand of the Paragon also switches from yellow lighting to light blue lighting, as well as the ring of the base are also Red. The main missile has it's orange stripe with a light yellow. Along with 2 fins above the Paragon, placed on top of the cannons of the mini missiles.
- At Degree 81-100, the Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker's design has completely changed. Most noticeable is the mini missiles' heads are now purple. The base stand is emitting light purple. The 6 legs on the Paragon also has a yellow thorn and are all Red. Some additional more light yellow are on the side fins of the Paragon.
Activated Abilities[]
The Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker comes with the Indomitable Surface-to-Air Ballistic Missile, in short as ISABM. This ablitly launches the entire upper half of the tower as one big missile, slowly exploding as it travels to its target. Each missile contact deal 1000 damage, the explosions deal 10,000 damage. When reaching its target it explodes one final time, dealing 150,000 damage at base. The cooldown at base is 30s and is reduced by about 5 seconds whenever lives are lost, at a cooldown of 1 second per instance of this cooldown reduction.
It also comes with its passive ability, the Blitz Tactical Storm, which deals a flat 20,000 damage to every BAD and Boss Bloon on screen and also virtually instakills (dealing exactly 9,999,999 damage) any Bloon type below BAD. It does damage to the Bloons that about to leak, taking no lives. This ability has a cooldown of 120s. Degrees do not increase the damage of the passive. Unlike most attacks, this genuinely has infinite pierce.
Targeting Priorities[]
The Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker follows standard targeting priorities.
- First: Targets the first bloon visible within its range.
- Last: Targets the last bloon visible within its range.
- Close: Targets the closest bloon visible within its range.
- Strong: Targets the strongest bloon visible within its range.
The activated ability follows Pursuit targeting based on the targeting priority at the time of launching the missile. The passive ability is whole screen.

Creation[]
| To do: upload video of creating the BOMB |
A base Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker can be created by having one of each tier 5 Bomb Shooter on screen, at which point, the upgrade icon for the Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker will become available on any of the tier 5 Bomb Shooters.
Paragon Power[]
The degree of the Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker depends on a hidden value known as "power", which itself depends on the amount of tier 5 upgrades, non-tier 5 upgrades, cash, and pops of sacrificed Spike Factories, as well as any Paragon Power Totems on the map. In addition to cosmetic changes every 20 degrees, a higher degree will elevate the damage output of the Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker. Power is calculated as follows:
- Each Tier 5 Bomb Shooter will contribute 6,000 power for a maximum of 50,000 power (9 Tier 5 upgrades). Excludes the first three Tier 5 Bomb Shooters.
- Each non-Tier 5 Bomb Shooter upgrade will contribute 100 power for a maximum of 10,000 power (100 non-Tier 5 upgrades). Excludes the first three Tier 5 Bomb Shooters.
- Every $34 / $40 / $43.2 / $48 spent on sacrificed Bomb Shooters will contribute 1 power for a maximum of 60,000 power ($2,040,000 / $2,400,000 / $2,592,000 / $2,880,,000 spent). Excludes the three cheapest Tier 5 Bomb Shooters.
- Alternatively, cash can be injected into the Paragon directly with 5% reduced efficiency.
- Every 180 pops achieved by sacrificed Bomb Shooters will contribute 1 power for a maximum of 90,000 power (16,200,000 pops). [1] Includes the first three Tier 5 Bomb Shooters.
- Round 132 is the first round where the game's cumulative RBE exceeds this threshold. Waiting until round 136 before upgrading to Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker should provide enough buffer to achieve the 16,200,000 pops, assuming Bomb Shooters are responsible for 80% of all pops until that point. These rounds will be earlier on Double HP MOABs or Boss Events due to the increased RBE from Boss Bloons and MOABs, so it is always best to confirm by calculating manually.
- Each Paragon Power Totem contributes an additional 2,000 power, with no limit.
Assuming no Paragon Power Totems, a maximum of 160,000 power is obtainable in single-player, and 210,000 power is achievable in co-op, though only up to 200,000 power is actually used.
Degree roughly scales with the natural logarithm of power, so there is no unique set of upgrades, prices, etc. that will place the Paragon at a certain degree. In addition, the attack speed, pierce, damage, specialized damage, boss damage and ability cooldown each scale differently with the degree.

Like all Paragons, which are able to sacrifice other towers, Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker has a complex set of costs.

Strategy[]
Summary[]
Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker is a powerful Paragon that excels at damaging BADs and Bosses, however it has an extreme lack of cleanup with its very slow attack speed and tendency to hit too soon. The passive is a great way to save against a fatal leak, however it must not be entirely relied on. Life loss synergies do assist the uptime of the ability, mainly from Ezili's totem, but should not be relied.
Use the Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker in combination with other Paragons that have more consistent attack speed for the best results.
Tips[]
- This paragon should definitely be used in combination with other, faster attacking / cleanup Paragons such as the Tack and Boomerang. The slow attack speed, even at higher degrees, makes it one you should just leave on "strong" to obliterate strong Bloons and compensate the cleanup with other towers. Definitely pair this paragon with an Engineer Paragon Overclock buff.
- To get a cheap degree 20 Paragon with normal prices, one can buy 25 0-2-2 Bombs with Missile Launcher and Frag Bombs to fulfill the 100 upgrade tiers requirement and $25,800 cash for a cheap Paragon.
- 2-4-0 MOAB Assassin is the most expensive non-Tier 5 Bomb that can be sacrificed. They have the most practical popping power as well.
- Most of the buildup of pops will come from Bomb Shooters that excel against MOAB-class. Bomb Shooters lack any instakill attacks nor income generation, and the only meaningful status effect for Bomb Shooter is Bloon Crush's stun effect against MOAB-class bloons. Because of this, the process of accumulating pops should focus on each maximized Tier 5 in combination with MOAB Assassin spam.

B.O.M.B. as first seen in the Version 51.0 update preview
Bomb Shooter Paragon was first officially announced on Ninja Kiwi's Version 50.0 patch notes. Prior to this, Ninja Kiwi noted in their Version 49.0 patch notes whether their community feedback prefers a new Hero Skin or a new Paragon, to which the latter is preferred by both the Bloons TD 6 community and Ninja Kiwi team. The "working name" of the Bomb Shooter Paragon is revealed to be the Supreme Missile Platform, and at the time Ninja Kiwi has made concept art of this Paragon.
On 11th October 2025, the name was revealed to be Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker. Ninja Kiwi has subsequently released an update preview of Version 51.0, a official YouTube video for Version 51.0, and a TikTok post teasing the Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker.
On 12th October 2025, early-access footage of Version 51.0 was released to showcase the Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker, including, in order of release from earliest to latest:
- New Bomb Paragon | The OBLIVION MISSILE SILO is here! (Bloons TD 6)" (Ethan Reid) (He got the earlier version, with the Oblivion Missile Silo instead)
- "New 5-5-5 BOMB Paragon - The Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker! (Bloons TD 6)" (ISAB)
- "The *NEW* BOMB Paragon is UNFAIR... | Update 51.0 (Bloons TD 6)" (Mechalic POPs)
- "The NEW 5-5-5 Bomb Shooter Paragon! (BTD6)" (MackanRules)
- "The NEW BOMBSHOOTER PARAGON IS EXTREMELY POWERFUL! (Update 51)" (Punji Gaming)
- "Bomb Shooter PARAGON! | Update 51.0)" (Tewtiy)
- "How Good is the NEW Bomb Shooter Paragon in BTD6?" (HBomb)
- "Can the New BOMB paragon Break the World Record Highest Round?" (SJB)
Due to a possible oversight, Ethan Reid accidentally got an earlier release version of BTD6 Version 51.0 that contains a different version of the Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker, the Oblivion Missile Silo. Its upgrade artwork of this Paragon is just a purple MOAB Eliminator, and its upgrade description mentions the "OMS" instead of "BOMB", however the rest of this version of Bomb Paragon is just the same. All other YouTubers have received the normal developer's build of the BTD6 Version 51.0 update.
Likewise with the older build, Ethan Reid had got an older version of Three Mines 'Round that has dark areas.

Trivia[]
- The name of the ability missile, officially known as a Indomitable Surface-to-Air Ballistic Missile (ISABM), is a subtle reference to a popular YouTuber named ISAB.
- It is the fourth Paragon to be released as a Primary Monkeys.
- When seen in the Update 51 video, unlike Crucible of Steel and Flame, the B.O.M.B was able to detect camo and destroy DDTs indirectly. However, when presented in early access footage, the B.O.M.B has no natural camo detection outside of its passive ability.
- However, B.O.M.B got camo detection by mistake in the 51.1 patch. As the paragon wasn't intended to have camo detection, this was corrected in the 51.2 patch.
- B.O.M.B. is the first paragon to have a passive ability.
- This also technically gives it two abilities, except the passive Blitz Tactical Storm cannot be activated by the player in the ability bar.
- This Paragon has an Active Ability which is similar to the Heli Pilot's Pursuit ability and that of a MOAB Eliminator, its Ability is Proximity fused and will explode in a few seconds.
- The release cost of Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker upgrade is the same as Ascended Shadow did when it got first released (i.e. $600,000 on Medium).
- Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker has exactly 68 range. This is a possible further reference to ISAB, with a close naming reference to Isabelle from Animal Crossing in the video game Super Smash Bros Ultimate, who is number 68 in the playable character roster.
- According to Ninja Kiwi's 31st October 2025 blog, several aspects of the BOMB were discovered:
- BOMB only had "Supreme Missile Platform" and "Oblivious Mission Silo" during development.[2]
- At least 3 monkeys operate the BOMB while it is deployed.[3]
- BOMB's Blitz Tactical Storm is not at all stronger than the prototype Tsar Bomba's bomb, and regardless the Tsar Bomba's bomb in present day was toned down.[4]
- Using a subtle reference, Ninja Kiwi confirms that ISAB, a famous YouTuber, is indeed a reference for the ISABM ability.[5]
