Avatar of Wrath is the 5th upgrade of Path 3 for the Druid in Bloons TD Battles 2. It is similar to its BTD6 counterpart, except the cap for the damage scaling is +24, for a max of 28 damage from the thorns. With Heart of Thunder, the lightning is also affected by damage scaling but a weaker effect, scaling damage up to +12. Also, Avatar of Wrath can buff itself with its own Poplust's +25% speed and +25% pierce benefits; only up to 4 nearby Poplusts are required to give it full Poplust buffs.
It costs $45,000, and is unlocked with the other tier 5 Druid upgrades for 1500.
Avatar of Wrath's damage output makes it very strong in the late-game rounds, particularly when maximally buffed by all the important sources.
Tips[]
0-1-5 Avatar of Wrath is usually better than 2-0-5, mainly due to BADs being the biggest issue. Especially when buffed, the thorns deal a lot of damage.
It is highly recommended to not use any abilities/towers that restore lives as it weakens the Avatar of Wrath's Heart of Vengeance buff, Make sure you have at least 50-75 lives to ensure it's strong enough
