Arcane Mastery buffed by lower-level Ocean Obyn

Arcane Mastery is the 3rd upgrade of Path 1 for the Wizard Monkey in Bloons TD Battles 2. It enhances all of the Wizard Monkey's aspects, increasing attack speed, damage, range and pierce. With this upgrade, the Wizard Monkey attacks twice as fast (every 0.55s), is able to pop Lead Bloons, has bolts deal 3 damage instead of 2 with +4 pierce (7 without Intense Magic, 12 with Intense Magic). Its base range is also increased by +50%, from 40 to 60 units.

It costs $1,200, and is available after unlocking Wizard Monkey.

  • Released
1.4.0
  • BUFF Arcane Mastery now pops Lead Bloons
  • BUFF Arcane Mastery cost decreased ($1300 → $1200)
  • Change Description changed from "Faster attacks with increased range, damage, and popping power." to "Faster attacks with increased range, damage, and lead popping power."
1.5.0
  • BUFF No longer requires 2,300 XP to unlock. Players who have unlocked this upgrade before the update will not receive a full refund.
3.1
  • NERF Arcane Mastery price increased ($1200 → $1400)
    • Overall price increase is $0, due to base Wizard and Arcane Blast buffs.
Arcane Mastery seems to be in a decent spot, but it has poor stepping stones in the early game, so we have buffed the lower tiers leading up to it. Arcane Mastery, Wall of Fire, and Shimmer have all had their price increased so that they do not indirectly get buffed from the price cuts.

3.2
  • BUFF Arcane Mastery price decreased ($1400 → $1200)'
  • BUFF Arcane Mastery seeking/turning rate increased (360 -> 600)
Wizard’s top path has high pierce but often struggles to make use of it all due to its slow turning speed, so that has been increased quite a bit. Alongside this, it has received a minor price cut so that it can perform better as a starting tower. [...]
