Apache Dartship is the 4th upgrade of Path 1 for the Heli Pilot in Bloons TD Battles 2. It is similar to its BTD6 counterpart, but somewhat stronger. In addition to retaining the Quad Darts and Razor Rotors attacks, the Heli Pilot gains a powerful machine gun and an array of 4 long-range homing missiles. The machine gun darts deal 1 damage, have 9 pierce, and fire every 0.05 seconds. The 4 rockets deal 3 damage with 40 pierce and fire every 1.0 seconds. Missiles deal +3 damage to Ceramics and above. Rotor attack also gains increased pierce and damage, 20 pierce and 6 damage every 0.55s.

It costs $17,500, and is unlocked with the purchase of Heli Pilot.

Summary[]

Apache Dartship packs a lot of DPS for a Heli upgrade at a high cost. However, it is cost-inefficient compared to how readily available it can be obtained, and it can't deal with DDTs nor efficiently deal with BADs. Currently, the Apache Dartship's real use case is to maximize DPS in extreme late-game situations with a loadout that otherwise has subpar damage without the Apache Dartships. It has a high use on the Heli-Ice-Village loadouts for maximizing DPS via the Heli Pilot.

Tips[]

4-0-2 for the speed, while 4-2-0 has in-built camo and faster flight speed.
