Spikey Shots shooting Spike Balls at a small angle.
Angled Shot is an attack behavior characterized by a weapon shooting all projectiles at a specific angle other than 0. It is part of the Attack Interactions family. This behavior is not found in the Bloons TD Series, as attacks that completely spawn on the side of a tower would not be able to hit their target. Instead, this characteristic is found in Bloons Super Monkey 2 and its Mobile version.
Straight Movement is represented on the Bloons Wiki as
, the upgrade artwork for Spikey Shots in Bloons Supermonkey 2 Mobile, which depicts a spiked ball, as it is a weapon that shoots projectiles at an angle. Angular Shots are distinguished from Angular Spray
because all projectiles follow the same trajectory in an Angled Shot and can apply to towers or weapons with only one projectile, while projectiles from an Angular Spray are evenly spread out. Note that an Angled Shot may still possess an Angular Spray if the center of an Angular Spray is not 0°. Like all other movement types, Angled Shots can be overridden by any form of Seeking unless there are no bloons on screen; this can be observed when using Radar Glaives.
The BSM2 Boomerang Thrower is the core example of an Angled Shot, as it shoots a single projectile from an angle. The BSM2 Flash version of Missile Launcher also possesses this quality.
